Initial Consultation
During your initial consultation i will take a full medical history from you, and I will examine your feet and discuss any pain, discomfort or concerns to help me reach a diagnosis. I will also carry out a foot health check, with a full neurovascular assessment to check the nerve function and the blood supply to your feet. Please allow approximately 90 minutes for this thorough examination.
Based on this we can then discuss a treatment plan and after agreeing this plan we can then begin treatment. The Foot Health Professional can also provide practical advise on socks and footwear and the foot care to try to prevent the condition from happening again.
Follow up Appointments
The majority of our treatments can be completed on your first session. However some treatments such as verrucae, may take a number of sessions. Generally these sessions are normally shorter as the Foot Health Professional is already aware and informed of your condition.
Hygiene and Safety
All equipment is fully scrubbed and sterilized using a professional Autoclave Steriliser with any equipment packed into sealed sterile pouches. Equipment is unsealed and opened at the time of treatment and is only ever used on that patient only.
Appointment Tips
Please remember to have a current, up to date list of any over the counter and prescribed medications available for your appointment. You must also advise your Foot Health Professional of any new medications that you may be taking at any follow up appointments. This is really important as some medications i may use may have contraindications with a patient's current medications.
Please remove any nail varnish on your toes prior to appointment, failure to do so will mean that treatment cannot go ahead but the appointment charges will still apply.
Cancellations
Cancelled appointments with less than 24hrs notice will still be payable on your next appointment.
If you are struggling to cut your fingernails, for a small additional charge, Hailsham Mobile Foot Care can provide a finger nail trimming and filing service.

The burring of thick toe nails to reduce them will produce dust, this can be just nail dust or fungal nail dust, and this dust can potentially stay airborne for up to 10 hours. To protect your health, and those around you I have heavily invested in a suction vacuum drill to minimize this.
